No surprise here. Everybody loves Anemo characters and Xiao especially.

Ganyu's falling further and further out of the meta with every patch.

Ganyu is not as insane as Xiao, Xiangling, or Raiden... but she's not as bad as klee or keqing.

Ganyu has reasonable single target with her charged shots, but even then her damage is too low to compete with top meta dps like Xiao or Raiden. And her AOE... while big, doesn't actually hit that hard. It gets outscaled by Childe with more than 1 enemy (in terms of team dps). However, Eula/Raiden has a higher power ceiling if they're willing to crit fish and provides much more burst than Ganyu.

Even with higher artifact investment, my Ganyu is clearing abyss far slower than my Xiao/Raiden teams. About 3 minutes vs 30 seconds.

And of course we have site statistics like these which show Ganyu being picked a lot less than more meta units.

So imo, Ganyu is not top meta.

Tbf, what's the point in using ganyu when Kaeya, Eula, Rosaria, Chongyun exist

@LightningMkqueen ganyu was never meta to begin with. She's extremely slow. Nobody uses her, and she sucks for mobile too. She will always be mid af.

Even kazuha is a better dps than ganyu. The new abyss is not good for ganyu either with the rifthounds interrupting her all the time. It limits her viability. No cap. Just straight facts. Proven it every time.

Ganyu mains be malding

Wait ganyu mains exist?

who is stopping them. People play with inferior characters, like ganyu and ayaka, and people really don't care. like why even use ganyu when we got Aloy, a better dps, for free.

Not to mention that ganyu's charged shots take too long to load, which ultimately makes her dps inferior. by then the ping will probably make you miss anyways.

We still have enough time until next year to wait for her charged attack to hit
