The Bitter Love Tree.
The Bitter Love Tree (Chinese: 苦情树 Kuqing Shu) or Tree of Bitter Love, is a massive tree that grows in the center of Tushan, where yaoguai and humans travel to make a Pledge of Love.
Located in the center of Tushan, it is an ancient and very powerful magical landmark. The tree is often used as a motif and re-occurring theme that represents love that persists beyond the grave.

A humongous tree taller than buildings, it blooms bright pink leaves.
Special Kuqing fruit grow on the tree branches, capable of enhancing the eater's powers.[1]

It is sometimes called the Xiangsi Shu (相思树) which has multiple meanings:
- the tree of yearning, as in pining to reunite in the afterlife
- xiangsi can mean mutual thinking, referring to how lovers think of each other
- Acacia Tree, a type of tree with similar appearance
