Cuiyu Ling (Chinese: 翠玉灵 "Blue Jade spirit") is a Tushan Leech Spirit (水蛭精) who is the leech spirit queen and she specializes in healing spells.
Name[]
She is also sometimes called Spirit Cuiyu or Miss Cuiyu (翠玉姐姐).
Her name is Cuiyu 翠玉 meaning Blue Jade. Ling 灵 is just an affix meaning spirit or soul. She is also known as the Leech Spirit Queen (蛭妖之王).
Appearance[]
She can shapeshift into a giant maggot. In her woman form, she is a comely brunette with gray eyes, wearing a green dress.
All leech spirits have a third eye called the water eye.
She also has a third eye that opens when she uses her blood transfusion magic.
Story[]
Long ago, her sister fell in love with Huoshen but she died after Huoshen sucked the powers out of her, gaining the Blood Transfusion magic of the Cuiyu clan. Huoshen then uses it to extract the Dongfang blood and gain the Chunzhi Yangyan power.
Years later, after Yaya's battle with Huoshen, she heals Dongfang Yuechu's wounds by French-kissing him and using her leech powers in maggot form.
She prepares a vat of medicine using her saliva. She opens her third eye and uses her blood transfusion technique to drain the Dongfang blood out of Huoshen in exchange for her saliva medicine. Huoshen then loses his flame power and is banished in disgrace.
