Cuiyu Ling arrives to tell Bai to pay his medical bills.
She says that Cuiyu Mingluan is her close younger sister.
She, Bai, and Susu also discuss how long ago Jinmian Huoshen abducted her other sister Cuiyu Xiaotan and sold her to the Ghost Woods (鬼林). Cuiyu Mingluan was Xiaotan's teacher, and Xiaotan was one of Mingluan's first disciples.
After Cuiyu Ling sucked out the divine blood from Golden Faced Fire God, Mingluan went on a revenge spree to kill the 3 spirits that colluded with selling Xiaotan. On the way, Mingluan met her lover Yang Mie.
Bai goes to Wang Fugui for help to unite Mingluan and Mie.
Meanwhile, Brother Meng (孟兄) leads Yang Mie to a monastery, where several decorations are out of place. This triggers Yang Mie's OCD and perfectionism, and he frantically rushes to put things in order.
Wang Fugui laughs at Yang Mie while recording the scene with his smartphone. They then fight. Wang summons Azure Dragon, but it is actually Bai Yuechu disguised in a dino costume.
Yang Mie actually buys the gig.
Bai then uses his extendable rod, the junior God Art of the Eternity Cudgel (定海棒的下位神通，如意棒法).
Realizing this power, Madame Quan allows Yang Mie to demonstrate his secret art inside the circle (圈内). Yang obliges and summons the Three-sighted God (三识神君). This summons purple lightning and opens a 3rd eye in Yang's mask. This gives Yang enhanced vision, and he proceeds to slice Bai's As-wish Cudgel.
Although the staff broke, Bai had many more.
