Dongfang Yuechu wakes up to the leech spirit, Miss Cuiyu Ling, treating his wounds. She explains that house visits from her are very expensive and Honghong has never asked her to come before so Dongfang must be very important to Honghong and asks how they know each other. Dongfang boasts that Honghong has selected him as her child groom, but Yaya rats him out. Dongfang says he has no choice then, but to confess his love to Honghong.
Rongrong comes in and explains that Cuiyu Ling has been identifying Dongfang's blood for an upcoming scheme.
Outside Tushan, the Yiqidao League Daoists and Gold Fire God have all been healed and their weapons confiscated. Huoshen swears to get revenge on Tushan. Honghong explains that as long as Dongfang Yuechu remains in Tushan, the Daoists will probably continue trying to attack them so she is going to solve the problem once and for all.
She then stabs Dongfang through the chest and hurls him off the wall, dead. Huoshen examines the body and confirms that the blood seeping into the ground is genuine Dongfang blood. The Daoists lament the loss of the Dongfang line and then Honghong lifts Huoshen into the air and explains that the blood inside his body is not his own.
Then with help from Cuiyu Ling, they drain the Dongfang blood from his veins replacing it with medicine that will cause him to regenerate his own blood back. This robs him of his ability to use Pure Yang Flame forever. The Daoists leave in shame and Honghong breathes a sigh of relief.
It is then revealed that it was not Dongfang who was killed at all, but a magic fox illusion covering up Yumian Fengjun's dead corpse that had been filled with Dongfang blood (studied by Cuiyu and Rongrong earlier) designed to fool Huoshen. Meanwhile, Honghong was reading from a script written by Rongrong. Honghong proclaims that from this forth the name Dongfang does not exist (perhaps to hide the alive Yuechu's identity).
