After a year since the Battle of Tushan, Bai Yuechu and Susu are celebrities and are followed by paparazzi. Huandu Luolan spies on them through her crystal ball and looks for a way to manipulate and kidnap Bai. After seeing Bai refuse to refund his VIP food coupons to give his dad money, she concludes that he would do anything for food. Bai meets a buxom pink-haired lady who makes him the tastiest dishes for the next few days. The lady uses sleeping darts to take out Bai's teacher and feed Bai meals and spend time with him. Susu, feeling abandoned, learns how to cook from Qingtong's yaoguai friends. Susu then presents Bai her first cooked dish: dim sum made from fresh giant crab from the Red Lake.
