Luolan leaves a note saying the poison will wear off in a week, but warns Tushan not to attack Nanguo or else she will kill Bai. Yaya and Rongrong notice that the love thermometer increased in temperature since Susu started worrying about Bai, so they decide not to interfere and let Susu and Bai's relationship develop further naturally.
Qingtong got injected by two of Luolan's poison needles to save Wang Fugui. Cuiyu Ling says Qingtong won't survive a week because the special poison was made from the anti-aging bug. Only Luolan would know the cure. The Wang clan is weary about attacking Nanguo since both the Zhang and Liu clans failed in their battles there. They take a plane there nonetheless.
Huandu Qingtian the Nanguo emperor is not worried about the Wang clan, but he is worried about Susu once the powerful Honghong coming for revenge against Luolan. Qingtian gets a letter from Tushan saying not to mind Susu or kill her. He fears that Susu will get into an accident and then use that as a pretext to attack Luolan. So he and his assistant devise a plan to send their soldiers to protect and escort Susu so she does not get into or cause any trouble.
Susu teleports to Nanguo with the chicken-man (who controls Bai's body). Three pandas, the emperor's Three Royal Shields (御前三盾) meet Susu to be her bodyguards. Suddenly, a poisonous worm is eaten by a bird, who bites a dog, who bites a human, and spreads the poison throughout town via mosquitos. Turns out it was frenzy poison (噬心蛊毒) made by Luolan's personal guard, the Venom Childe (毒公子 Du Gongzi), a master in Gudu (蛊毒 Poison voodoo magic from South China). Duzhe Zhidun (Poisoner's Shield) sucks up the poison from the frenzied mob and seemingly defeats Du, as the three pandas say that Du Gongzi made an oath to limit himself to one Gudu spell a day.
However that worm was poisoned yesterday. Du Gongzi is about to strike them with another poison bamboo gudu spell, but Wang Fugui with one of his four symbols Zhuque stop Du and burn his poison.
