Huandu Qingtian explains that there was no way the Tushan sisters would allow Luolan to go through with her Heart Oath with Pingqiu Yuechu and that they only found out he was Dongfang Yuechu's reincarnation too late when Pingqiu was dying. Luolan researched for years on how to revive Pingqiu without Tushan, even cooperating with Black fox spirits. After realizing how much his daughter went through, even going so far as to lock up Qingtian in Warlock Mountain, Qingtian suddenly says that he will not let anybody stop his daughter's plans to reunite with Yuechu.
Qingtian casts Venom Body to turn into mist. Susu uses Invincible Claws to swat away the mist, while Wang and Qingtong use their spirit energy to defend themselves. Bai tries to use Xukong Zhilei, Pure Yang Flame, and Tunshi Qingli but Qingtian already found ways to nullify them. Turns out that Bai Qiuen sold his son's weaknesses to Huandu Qingtian for 100k yuan. (Qiuen indulges in a large food buffet at Nanguo, and his 2nd cousin Bai Xiao also shows up to the meal.)
Finally the two days are up from the Immortal Chessboard, and on a full moon, Luolan recites an incantation, using Love Gu (情蛊), and eating a specially raised scorpion to raise Pingqiu Yuechu from the dead.
