Nanguo (南国) is the main setting of the Nanguo arc of the series. Its name translates to Southern Kingdom or Southland, and it is situated southwest of Tushan.
It seems to be based on the provinces of Southwest China, such as Sichuan and Yunnan. This is evidenced by Huandu Luolan's clothing and the appearance of pandas in Nanguo (pandas are native to Sichuan province).
