Third Master of Aolai (傲来国三少爷 Aolai Guo San Shaoye) or San Shaoye is the leader of Aolai. He occasionally appears throughout the series to help Tushan and Bai defeat the Shadow Foxes. Dongfang Yuechu refers to him as his 'Master' (东家).
He is apparently a Monkey spirit like Liuer Mihou as Yaya refers to him as a monkey. He has a slight crush on Yaya.
Sandi (三弟) refers to the three masters / siblings of Aolai.
Appearance[]
He has a flashing bright golden spirit body. His eyes are golden brown, but otherwise his light is so bright that it is hard to discern his face. When trying to hide his true form, he has often disguised himself as Venom Boy.
Donghua[]
- Season 2 (Episode ?) he helps save Susu by manipulating the Tear Void so that it would not tear her body apart.
- Season 3 (Episode ?) he helps Dongfang Yuechu realize that the true enemies of humans and spirits alike were the Shadow Foxes
- He helps erase some of Wang Fugui's memory after his encounter with Du Niangzi (though not all of his memory)[1]
- He helped Pingqiu Yuechu escape from Tushan by activating his Tear Void. This is when he learned how to manipulate the Tear Void.[2]
- He prevents Lady Heihu from interfering in Luolan and Yuechu's resurrection ritual to steal the Tear Void.[3]
- He is seen having a discussion with Dongfang Yuechu's soul. It is also revealed that San Shaoye has feelings for Tushan Yaya.[4]
- He lent his spirit power to heal Honghong so that she could advise Yaya to let Luolan make her Heart Oath. When Yaya discovers that San Shaoye interfered, she refers to him as a cursed monkey (臭猴子).[5]
Abilities[]
- He can summon the Cudgel of Eternity (定海一棒) which when thrown creates a huge atomic-like explosion.
- He can shapeshift, taking on the forms of Du Tongzi, etc.
- He can manipulate the Tear Void so that it does not tear apart the bodies of others.
- He has special powerful golden hairs, one of which he gave to Pingqiu. It is able to heal and revive others briefly. For example, he uses some golden hairs to heal Honghong so that she could advise Yaya to let Luolan make her Heart Oath. The gold hair is a reference to China's epic novel Journey to the West.
- He can currently only use one-tenth of his original power due to being sealed by an extraterrestrial weapon before.
