Yuyao Princess (御妖国公主) is Akuan's girlfriend and lover. She is the princess of the Yuyao kingdom. In the end, before she died she made a Heart Oath with Shi Kuan under the Kuqing Tree.
Her reincarnation reunited with Shi Kuan thanks to Liuer Mihou, Bai, and Susu's help.

Yu Yao means 'Manipulate Spirits' implying that the Yuyao people are able to command yaoguai to their bidding.[1]

She has red hair, a gold headpiece, and red jewel bindi. She wears red robes.

She makes a Heart Oath with A Kuan, asking if they could love each other forever and if A Kuan would protect her forever.
She dies at the hands of a rebel army, after she married another man. However, it is revealed that she only married another man so that she could ascend the throne and learn the secret to freeing the yaoguai from the Zimu Fu, so that she could free Akuan and love him.
Reincarnated, she is seen dating another man. However, it turns out to be Zuoshi's lackey. Zuoshi ordered him to seduce her to keep her away from Shi Kuan and thereby keep Shi Kuan under his thumb. However, Liuer Mihou exposes him and helps the reincarnated princess learn the truth. After this, the princess falls in love with Shi Kuan once again and the two reunite.
